- 拼音:shi2 niu2 dao4川、 陝棧道之一。 北起沔縣， 過五丁關、 寧強， 至廣元。 北魏·酈道元·水經注·沔水注： “秦惠王欲伐蜀而不知道， 作五石牛， 以金置尾下， 言能屎金。 蜀王負力， 令五丁之成道。 秦使張儀、 司馬錯尋路滅蜀， 因曰石牛道。” 亦稱為“金牛道”。
